WALTER
Bruce Hermann is a much-awarded actor, director and teacher. In July, 2017 he played Jorgenson, opposite Andrea Navedo, in the Chelsea Rep production of OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY by Jerry Sterner. In films last year, he played Bobby in NO TURNING BACK, directed by Elliot Zarrabi; Abe in THE VILLAGER, directed by James Ortiz; Walter in IN/FINITE by Ashlee Mundy and Kristen Hilkert; Phillip in DIFFERENT PEOPLE, directed by Matthew Trapasso; Sale in NOT ANOTHER CHRISTMAS by Darren Tao. In 2015, he played Daddy in the premiere of AT HOME IN OIL, by Sawyer Estes, at the Left Stage in NYC, Baylor in Sam Shepard's LIE OF THE MIND at Chelsea Rep (NYC), and Father in Drew Hendrickson's film, THE POWER OF PRAYER. Prior roles included Dennis in Chelsea Rep's JOHN WAYNE'S AMERICA and Johnny Patriot in FAULT LINE at the Meet Factory in Prague, Czech Republic. He has directed stage work throughout the US and Europe, and has taught acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse, Ohio State, Texas Tech, Virginia Commonwealth, Rose Bruford (London) and The Acting Studio, NYC.
