BEING BORN IN A PLACE WHERE YOU DON'T BELONG TAKES ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING WHEN SHE'S ACCEPTED INTO THE MARS ONE ASTRONAUT PROGRAM.
the story
IN/FINITE is a short sci-fi drama that takes place in the very near future. It's the story of Jane, the lonesome, charming black sheep of her family. She's a young woman with the uncontrollable urge to leave this Earth, as sometimes having a family and friends who love you doesn’t outweigh the inexplicable pull towards something... greater. When she’s accepted into the Mars One Astronaut program, she makes her life’s toughest decision and a trip home to say goodbye. Not being able to bring herself to tell her family that it’s goodbye forever, our film takes place at a going away party where nothing is as it seems, and every word holds more weight than the last. Full of quippy banter, heartfelt humanity and a splash of science fiction, IN/FINITE takes us on a very honest journey of what it takes to leave this planet for what can only be described as: the unknown.

+ KRISTEN HILKERT
Kristen Hilkert likes telling stories that bridge the space between us. She is a multi-hyphenate, LA transplant who grew up with a ton of make-believe. From a typical swing set, she would shut her eyes and imagine what it would be like to see through someone else’s. Today she does it for a living. She is a filmmaker who never ceases to be fascinated by how beautifully alike and different we are.
Recently she directed, shot and/or edited commercials, films, promos and music videos for SEAN JOHN, Pelican, ZENNI Optical, Macy's, SEE Eyewear, CAM, SONY Music, Jennie Vee, Miranda Lee Richards, Virgil Donati, MALENA, Save Ferris, Shauna Brittenham, and The Fantastic Toes. She also co-wrote, produced and acted in the short films, THE WAHLBERG EFFECT and FRANK'S OUT BACK, and acted in the McWilliam Brothers' fantastic comedy-short titled HOW TO KILL YOUR CLONE, which gained Official Selection at 30+ film festivals in 2012.
Kristen is all about stories that inspire us to be our best selves, whether they be fact or fiction; she would love to help you tell yours.
+ ASHLEE MUNDY
If Sansa Stark had more than one lady sibling, I would probably be her long lost sister in some remote, wintry kingdom where all the women kind of look like elves from LOTR.
On a quest to make stories come alive as an actor, writer and producer. I gravitate towards narratives in the world of the uncomfortable, the passionate, the strange, the vulnerable and everything futuristic.
I'm a long time NYC based actor, writer and producer. Born and raised in Ohio, I got my B.A. in Theatre from The (you have the say "the"; it's a whole thing) Ohio State University, where I mainly focused on theatre movement, playwriting and Meisner training, and continue to do so.
In spring 2017, I produced my first film, IN/FINITE, a short sci-fi drama which has been screened at multiple festivals within which it has won quite a few awards and secured a distribution deal with Hewes Pictures. Through that deal, we received television placement on a Direct TV channel in regular programming in all of the US and Europe. It's scheduled to premiere on air on May 22,2018 and other dates throughout the summer. Keep an eye on my recent news page for updates and info on when you can see me on a TV near you!
As a playwright, my short plays have been produced in Chicago, San Diego and NYC. My play Rusalka, about protest, LGBT issues in contemporary Russia and Pussy Riot, won the Audience Choice Award at the Fresh Fruit Play Contest in NYC in 2015 and moved on to be a part of the Fresh Fruit Play Festival late that summer.
+ ANDERS MOURIDSEN
I grew up in Denmark and started playing accordion at 6 years old. I would play any instrument I could get my hands on, but quickly the guitar took over as my favorite. As soon as I finished basic education, I packed a duffle bag and two guitars and bought a one-way ticket to the U.S. The biggest decision of my life that continues to pay off- I’ve worked with P!nk, Taylor Swift, John Fogerty, Meghan Trainor, Guy Sebastian, TimArmstrong AKA Tim Timebomb, Eric Paslay, Faith Evans, Cam and many others. I’ve played on Grammy nominated songs and albums, performed on national TV shows and big festivals, written and produced for multiple genres. Throughout it all, I consciously make it a high priority to never let my busy schedule get in the way of a new collaboration or creative relationship. I'm always looking for the next thing. Thanks for stopping by and have fun browsing below through examples of my work.
